Gritty, I should be publicly shamed for not getting that on video...it was too funny. I laughed for three days.

Yes Em, next time I'll remind you to have the video cam handy.

We saw one of those stinky black and white "cats" up here on the farm the other day.

I'm tempted to capture it and train it to jump out of a box, for MFB's christmas presents. That and the sausage balls of course.

I would definitely get rid of it fast!

BTW, I'm wondering about the grass fed farmer. Times are getting tough, but I hope folks aren't down to grass.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

actually, it's a lot better for the cows to eat grass rather than being grain fed, not to mention the meat ends up being a lot healthier for people.

She was just teasing Gritty about her "Grass fed FARMER" meaning the farmer eats grass...

You know, you would think they'd want the package back to test it, just in case it needs to be recalled. That would be the prudent thing for them to do.
This could be leuconostoc, some form of clostridium or a bunch of other anaerobic bacteria. Not e.Coli or salmonella, they are not anaerobes. Some organisms will grow at freezing temps, just more slowly. Some prefer cured pork.
