I have an ISA Brown that has been laying for a month or two. I started noticing these weird squiggley-type thing attached to the yolk the last couple eggs of hers I’ve cracked. I’ve thrown them away because it doesn’t look normal but am hoping for some input from this group. I’ve had egg layers for almost two years and haven’t seen this before so I’m wondering what it is, if it’s safe to eat, and if it indicates health issues. I tried to get some decent pictures from different angles but it was hard since the egg was still warm and steamy. Thanks!
