I haven't gotten any strange eggs yet...have gotten some super small pullet eggs from medium egg layers, but no soft shells, or lumps, bumps or anything...

Oh wow! Is it normal to get odd looking eggs? First time chicken owner..they won't be laying until begin of aug (they'll be 20 weeks ) so have no idea what to expect lol

Every once in awhile some chickens will lay a weird egg. Like a hitch in the process every once in awhile

Oh ok lol guess they can't lay perfect eggs all the time, nobody perfect I'm just glad I don't have to lay a egg every morning, sheesh!

What? Occasionally the hen likes to express her creative side by making the unique egg. The egg in the first picture deserves a blue ribbon!
