She's still glued to her nest this morning. Maybe change her name to Elmer's.

how is the surama doin

PJ is still broody, but I took her nest away, and she is now penned in with the last remaining cockerel. She is still puffing up like a broody-turkey! Today I took the other pullet and 2 cockerels to their new owner, so their will be a lot less crowing around here. YAY! But the one cockerel I kept was wandering around tonight, looking for his buddies... poor guy. PJ will have to be his buddy, and soon they will move in with the rest of the older Seramas.

These are the 3 that I sold today. I will miss them! Except for the crowing!

This is the one I kept.

And you know what PJ looks like... broody!

The roo you are keeping is gorgeous. Have you ever shown him?

Thanks Diva! He is also a princely little guy... so tame and respectful. You can go and scoop him up and he just relaxes into your hand. No fussing or flapping. Was like that as soon as he hatched.

No showing. You can see his tail doesn't come up, so I think it wouldn't be worth it. He has the same temperament as his grandfather, and that's why I kept him. Such a sweetheart. For me the temperament is more important than looks, and I don't mind the low tail look in general, but it's not very Serama-ish.
