Im excited to be giving this little one a home. She’s a barrel of energy and the moment I opened the door of her crate at home she was running around the bathroom and making everything into her toys.

I’m on edge as to whether or not I will make her my barn cat. I feel as if the training would be tough, but then again that was the whole reason I went into this idea.

No matter what she does in the future, all I can say is that this little bugger is just too cute for me! Although it does appear that she still needs to grow into those ears 😂.

Leaning towards the name Cricket. Let me know if you have any other ideas, though.

Expect many many more pictures in this thread!

I love Cricket! Thats a great name for her!
Congrats on your new addition! Is so exciting to come home with a kitten!
What training are you thinking about for being a barn cat? Coming in at night?
My previous barn cat who I so suddenly lost a month ago, was an indoor outdoor cat. She went outside when she wanted to and I let her in whenever she was at the door. She had the personality of a sweet house cat, but did the job of a successful barn kitty too.

Im wanting her to be able to transition for outdoor to indoor easily, and also do a good job as my mouser outdoors. I'm hoping to train her not to bother the chickens, too.
