My hens' first hatchlings are out of the nest already. 16 made it out of 19. The last three that didn't hatch; the hen abandoned. I had to open them to see for myself, they never mae it past the first couple of weeks. So I guess that's a pretty good hatch rate for the two momma hens' first time. It's so much fun to watch the hens try to keep up with all of them running everywhere.
