So chicken math ... I wasn't worried . I wasn't going to get anymore chicks. I was going to be strong . But then I had to rehome my rooster and my ducks ..... .. and I made a terrible mistake I looked at my local farm/ community page . Chicken math it's a sickness . Meet my I going to NOT get anymore chickens . .. chicks .

I already hatched 4 with a broody so now I am to 16 unless any of these turn out to be cockerels then I will rehome them .

Yep I did pretty good through TSC Chick Days when the had their bantams . There is just something about Silkies , Silkie mixes and Naked Necks , sigh

Yeah it's been the year of the cockerels . 3 out of every set of pullets I've bought have been . Fingers crossed all these are pullets

I have 16 a year later . It's so fun to watch them go from chick to adult , and it's exciting when the pullets start to lay . I love having chickens .
