My addiction is hatching them. I have 10 in the incubator (it's day 14) and I'm already planning my next hatch.

That happens, I was going to get six hens and one rooster earlier, I came home with thirteen hens and one rooster, so I know how that goes.

It's probably a good thing I don't have an incubator . I can imagine how many chickens I would have then

I have 16 a year later . I5t's so fun to watch them go from chick to adult , and it's exciting when the pullets start to lay . I love having chickens .

Agreed I would say I am not going to get more till some faid out but that would also be a lie....those stinkers got along so well with the adults and meshed well...

Thank you I try to keep it very bright and fun they are all different breeds except I have 2 marans

I bought 15 chicks this year (my first) and the hatchery sent 18. They are 6 weeks tomorrow. Im already planning my next set of chicks. And that would require me to build another coop for the Brahmas. Well ok, not me, but my husband. I help though. And he knows it’s coming cause he is already telling me how and where he is putting the Brahma coop.

I told him we needed a “love shack” for the more specific breeds we want. And he is planning that too. He knew what he was getting into after he agreed I could get the first set
