View attachment 1317733 so this brood y duck out in the palace managed a jail break somehow either last night or early this morning . . must have climbed over the buckets that's the only way she could have gone.
I walked in to find her sitting in a different bucket on the other girls eggs.
Candle d the three she had been sitting on and they were no good. One clear, one looks rotten and sadly the last one looked like it started to develop but is cracked and leaking
My question is. . do you all think she could have known the eggs were bad? Or did she just want out and couldn't figure a way back in?
It's funny that they do seem to instinctively "know" some things. Like when my little cockerel died. Up until then, the little pullet wouldn't leave his side - not even to go eat. Nothing going on here! Dh works Sunday night and my parents are out of town and the grands are at their other grandparents..so, no plans!
