Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Evening everyone! :caf
I did my best to catch up but I was way too far behind again. All I remember is something about crunchy sheets, tinfoil, several folks not feeling well again (still):hugs , all the great Holiday plans, Phil on a roadtrip over the big "Mack" (jealous) and Jesus Christ Superstar.
Oh, and Alaskan's Orthodox Easter celebrations (I hope he shares pics again this year, I love seeing them).

My cough has finally disappeared!!! Yea! :celebrate
Under a winter storm warning and it's starting to snow, Boo!
We had been invited to drive over to DH's daughter's place north of Marinette/Menominee (close to lake Michigan above Green Bay) but DH didn't feel like travelling (timing was bad) :yesss: actually good thing since we didn't know we were about to have the biggest Easter snowstorm in many years. Spent the day making sure we had all the tools picked up (had a couple days of nice weather so outdoor projects were in order) and anything that might do damage to the snowthrowers out of the way, now it's just curling up and hoping the power holds when the wind starts to blow. No one coming here so it's just warming the house with the turkey that's been waiting patiently in the freezer for Resurrection Sunday and recuperating from what's sure to be a Saturday of clearing wet snow from the roofs, doors and drifts from the drive. We were really hoping for an early spring this year. Maybe we'll get lucky and this will be our last big storm.
it is just a very heavy spring shower ;)

You actually get heat. .. so whatever shows up should melt quickly. :hugs

We still have snow, and do NOT get heat ...so very little melting. We have had a few little snows.. but really nothing. A few bits of the driveway show dirt.... kids are having to ride the snowmachine only on off road areas... can't get to church by snowmachine anymore since they have to cross a road that no longer has snow cover. :(

that is why I prefer boring.

And speaking of Easter, I hope to get to visit the Tadpole, but will likely be tomorrow instead of Sunday. Sunday is call duck hatch day. :clap

Have a Happy Easter, Pondies!

Batten down the hatches! Get out a jigsaw puzzle and some hot cocoa. Hopefully you have some Epsom salts to put in a hot bath after you’re done moving snow.

I am busy being a bad, bad Gramma. DIL is 34 weeks pregnant - she and DS are at the hospital right now because she was having contractions. Granddaughter is tired but onto all of our tricks to get her to sleep, so o just put a movie on at 11:00 pm. I could possibly lose my Gramma license over this, but I did tell the kid that she has to be laying down to watch it or I shut it off. In my defense, I only promised to keep her breathing until they get back. I didn’t promise to have her asleep or follow any house rules.

Kind of bummed that I didn't breed my goats earlier.. it would have been nice to have a tasty baby goat for Easter.

I think anyone else could have said that & it wouldn't have sounded as creepy.:gig

I love that baby!!! :love Those black & whites are killing me! :bow

Are their wings trimmed? Do they fly around your house?

I always thought it'd be funny to hide white plastic eggs in the snow. :lau Yes I am that kind of cruel. :gig
