Oh man! What an ordeal! I hope he's feeling much better soon!Beautiful! I love it!
I think he should be named “Bobbi’s Bird” He’s absolutely gorgeous!
Sitting here in the ER with DH. He fell down a ditch into the lake and messed up his back. Took him over 10 minutes (he thinks) to crawl up out of the ditch, get on the 4-wheeler and come home. He was able to get off the machine, but couldn’t move. I was out in the garden when he yelled for me. He couldn’t move. We got him sitting in a folding chair and I gave him 4 ibuprofen and two tramadol. It didn’t touch it. We gave it an hour before coming into town. He has gotten a shot of toradol and now 45 minutes later an OxyContin tablet. I hope it works. I’ve never seen him in so much pain.
Awww - so sweet!! Congratulations!!Good morning. We have a new duckling!

Happy Birthday yesterday!!! I'm glad the weather has been cooling down for you - hopefully you'll be able to get all your planting done!Morning Pond! View attachment 1416508
Had a very boring non event birthday yesterday, even got to cook my own Sunday roast beef dinner, but that's just fine. A bit old for the whole whoopla anyway. Besides, the amount of candles on a cake would probably set the place on fire anyway
Well, at least Mother Nature decided to give me a nice birthday present yesterday. It was one of those raw rainy windy days and never got out of the 50's. It was supposed to clear off overnight and we could have gotten frost (not that unusual for us the first week of June) but MN decided to give me a break. The winds calmed and it got really close but no frost. I woke to the temp in the high 30's and nice sunrise. Hopefully the wind dries things out enough to get into the gardens to get some work done.
Looking at a good week ahead to get some serious outside work done. Get that painting done and put a nice dent in the repair list. Dh has managed to fix the smoker engine on the old Husq lawn tractor so we are back to 2 riders again and I get to use the new one when we attack the field later this week.
Congrats on the goatie babies, finally Al, when do we get pics???

@Fields Mountain Farm - it's pretty amazing that even when things go wrong, you can still get those really resilient chicks who hatch anyway! Congratulations!
