Pushki is seriously bad stuff. Don't think we have it here in NJ. 'Al' after 2 weeks my hands hurt minimally, I can raise my right arm normally with slight discomfort, I can raise my left arm almost normally with more pain than I like, but all of that is significant improvement. I need to take my BP and see what impact the weight loss has had on that.

the problem with the weeds is they are Pushki ... I am immune, eldest kid is immune.

But I am not sure if the youngest 2 kids are or not.... kid 2 and 3 are NOT immune, and kid 3 is super sensitive to it.

can't decide if I want to risk getting kid 4 and 5 covered in 3rd degree burns.
Maybe wear long sleeves and gloves?

You gotta love a man who puts ice cram bars on a credit card to keep his wifes honor in tact.:lau
Sounds like a keeper to me!

Wow scary. You know your hubby, and i don't, but Id still wager that he underestimated everything by at least 56%.
Hope he's feeling better today. :hugs
Of course he did. He’s a guy...

Good morning, Pond. @bobbi-j, how's your husband this morning.
Up and moving. Slowly, but moving.

There was a time, not long ago, when doctors would die before recommending a chiropractor; they were considered wanna-be doctors...second class citizens.
Hope he's some better this morning. Great timing...he waited 'til he finished the planting.
We did talk about the timing last night on the way in. Good thing he’d finished!

Had a very boring non event birthday yesterday, even got to cook my own Sunday roast beef dinner, but that's just fine. A bit old for the whole whoopla anyway. Besides, the amount of candles on a cake would probably set the place on fire anyway :gig
Well, at least Mother Nature decided to give me a nice birthday present yesterday. It was one of those raw rainy windy days and never got out of the 50's. It was supposed to clear off overnight and we could have gotten frost (not that unusual for us the first week of June) but MN decided to give me a break. The winds calmed and it got really close but no frost :D . I woke to the temp in the high 30's and nice sunrise. Hopefully the wind dries things out enough to get into the gardens to get some work done.

Looking at a good week ahead to get some serious outside work done. Get that painting done and put a nice dent in the repair list. Dh has managed to fix the smoker engine on the old Husq lawn tractor so we are back to 2 riders again and I get to use the new one when we attack the field later this week. :celebrate

Congrats on the goatie babies, finally Al, when do we get pics???
Happy Birthday, Chickie!

Black clouds are DEFINITY her happy place. It puts a heavy weight on my crowded little house. :(
I feel your pain... but thankfully, my mom won't come to visit us for a variety of reasons. So, I need to get up there and see her again soon. The nice thing about that is the ability to hop in the car when things get really negative and just head home.

Time to vaccinate some chicks! :)
BTW: Peter Parker has at least three of them in there!
