Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

We're having weather heading in too. Nothing like you guys are having, so I'm not complaining. I think I'm gonna head to the sofa for a movie marathon this afternoon. We'll do music, appetizers & games with the kids later. It might be next year before I see you guys. Until then, be safe out there tonight Pond Peeps! :frow:hugs
Happy New Year to you.:)

Im glad they could postpone it and everyone stay home and safe.:hugs
Yeah. There were a lot of family members that would have been traveling a minimum 3 1/2 hours to get back home today. Also, the deceased's oldest son and family were snowed in at their farm 15 miles from town.

Dang Bobbi, what a miserable time for a funeral! :hugs Not that there's ever a good time for one, but burying someone in the snow just makes a sad event sadder. I'm glad they postponed, even if just for a day.
Our friend was cremated, so no worry about burying him. Sometimes a body will be kept until spring for burial if the winter is particularly.

Oh dear.. will they be able to travel tomorrow? How long is the storm supposed to last? Will the son and his family be able to get out?
Sorry for all the questions...
