She popped in recently to say shes been busy. I've gotten used to a lot of BYC'ers going MIA during the Spring. I know she'll be back when she gets caught up with all her seasonal stuff.

I really thought Orr would pop in to say hi during Spring Break, but I don't think she did. :hmm Hopefully she'll be back this Summer. :fl
I hate it when people get busy... Then never come back....

Glad to hear!!! Was watching this morning's weather and was a bit concerned that the waves on the southern and eastern ends of the pond may have gotten a bit rough! A little prayer that all our pond dwellers are safe this morning.
BTW-sorry that any to my south may be caught in the snowstorm tomorrow that was supposed hit us. (I really am sorry, BUT, I can't help a little :yesss: :p )

Thanks, actually, my best friends house was hit by a tornado yest. @Tracetheroo Shes in the northern part of the state goin to LA tech to be a pilot. She got out without a minute to spare just listened to her insticts when she woke up at 1:30AM she just knew she needed to get to shelter, packed up and ran, thank God, cuz the torndo hit at 2:15.

Yes there is. If one or both of your ducks are drakes then its possible that they may try to mate with the hens. This is not good!
I don't want to stir anything up... But I've heard the whole it's "Possible" that a Drake could try to mate with a hen chicken .....I keep my chickens and ducks together... Even when I had three Drakes here and I've never seen my Drakes even show the slightest interest in my chickens. Now having too many Drakes had been a issue..... That's why I'm down to one Drake now... Although my two boys were fine..... Adding that third one was a problem.
I'm just saying it seems ducks seem to only care about the ducks within their social circle.
But you know me I'm all about ducks.
If my chickens didn't have that all black meat I'd probably eat them....
