Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

The feeling is mutual (at least for me.) my SIL bought us one of those a couple years ago & it completely creeped me out. I kept unplugging it & hiding it in the garage, but DH kept finding it. It hasn’t resurfaced for a long time, so it’s possible I hid it in the Goodwill bag.

She super freaks me out. as in smash her into bits and put her in a led liner box.

I need to find my tin foil hat...

Great photo...calendar worthy....and will that plant survive???

...Then there’s this poor guy. He’s been run over AGAIN. :thHe’s been stolen 3 or 4 times & run over more times than I can count. Notice he doesn’t even bother to say “SLOW” anymore. Now he just says “OW” as he lays there in the road crying his little dirt tears. :D

Stolen?? Then returned?

Is that the little roo you got from the eggs you let your legbar hatch?

Yes that's Iris. :loveWhat a good memory you have. He's 18months now. Crazy how fast time flies.

Thanks! The plant wont survive. I'll buy a new one. They'll kill it. I'll buy a new one....

The yellow safety boy was stolen a lot when one on the houses on my culdesac was rented out to a frat house. Every time a new round of boys would move in, they'd have a party & he'd be stolen. I'd have to go up everytime, knock on the door & demand him back. They would always deny culpability & I'd say, "I know, you have no idea who stole him & its pretty funny to have him covered in mardi gras beads & a G-string, but put him back, no questions asked. If he's not back by Monday we're gonna have problems."
He always showed back up until the frats moved out & the sorority moved in.:barnie They were the worst on every level. The inevitable party/theft happened & they would not return him. They eventually had to buy me another one & that ones been run over & over & over & over... Its not easy being a yellow safety boy & having to take so many for the team.

Ow !

We have an "Alexa" in the house (yeah, I know, she's spying on us... spy away - we live pretty boring lives) and my boys set reminders so she goes off now and then (they said, "so you'll think of us" awww). She went off this morning, with one of their reminders, so I told E that "ALexa went off." She then launches into all the definitions for "off" - thanks old girl. Had a hearing check lately?
My new tablet has Alexa. We've been cracking up asking her all sorts of stupid stuff.

Good Evening, Pond!
Boy, the week flew by! I only have time to read so I don't fall behind, but not much time to post. Then this weekend, we did the "Tour De Kids". I walked in the door on Friday, used the bathroom, got back in the car and DH & I headed for DS2's house in Iowa. (They invited us down to experience their county fair.) The grand daughters and their parents (who live about 40 miles from DS2) joined us at the fair. The 3-year old and I hung out together and went on the Ferris Wheel. Papa and the 18 month old enjoyed looking at the calves in the petting barn together. After the fair, we got in the car and headed west 2 hours to visit Grandson and his parents. We're trying to spend as much time with him as we can so when little sibling makes an appearance (due in about a week, so could happen any time), he's not traumatized when he's left with Glampa and Grammy. It was a good weekend, but I'm beat!
