Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I'm not a fan of carpets either because I have pretty severe allergies. I can get away with no carpet because of the climate here, but if I lived in cold country I'd be in trouble.
I love in cold country and I don't have carpet....I used to. But I live on a dirt road and have a lifestyle that doesn't permit me taking my shoes off every time I come into and out of the house.... So no carpets here.
Hardwood floors...... Heated tile floor in the bathroom. Only carpet is in our bedroom.... And dining room which we never use.

Selective Blindness is a self defense mechanism that our brain blesses us with (until someone important comes to visit & the veil is pulled resulting in painfully clear optics & utter panic.)

I love plastic 'wood' planks. They're a great way to reuse those pesky plastic bottles. What color did you choose? How will you keep your feet warm & the house insulated without the carpet?
I wear socks....

Survived another chemo treatment; 2 down, 10 to go!
The treatments are no problem at all, except enduring 4 hours of do-nothing time as a "captive audience" when you forget your Kindle loaded with books.
It's the waiting to see what side effects are going to surface, & when; took 6 days the first round, & was pretty brutal for 4 days.
Hang in there Mr Whites.:)

Dishwasher and fridge in the mudporch..... floor 1/3 done....

Spouse is all angry that the kitchen sink is full of dirty dishes....

Love starting my day with stupid irrational screaming and yelling ...

Yeah....
Selective hearing is a blessing; leaving the keys in the truck helps a lot, too

Really don't want to leave keys in vehicles anymore.... since one of the cars was stolen last week...

But yeah... I made the brilliant comment that those were a ridiculous complaints ... so spouse stormed out....
