Sad when some of the dogs end up dying though. They've even had participants with Poodles (standard I think ) pulling the sled. Seem to recall the name Susan Bucher or some last name to that effect, she does well.

'Did well'. She died of cancer several years ago.

Pretty nice here. Looks like it rained overnight, but the sun's out bright this morning with temps in the 50's, fleece vest feels pretty nice.

'Ours' has been missing for several days - must have moved South to Maryland.

One of the houses in my culdesac is for rent again. ‘Again’ being the key word. Every time someone new moves in (which is frequently) I worry about the rooster. The last people were very sweet & loved him. That house is big & apartmented out, so that means at least 3 new couples to deal with. Ugh! Stress! Worry!

Yep. It sometimes happens that way. I’m assuming they must’ve raised the rent substantially or something for them all to leave.
