Just gave Luna the first dose of tetracycline and yep, she didn't care for being toweled at all. I wanted to keep her out for a bit after so that she doesn't associate coming out of the cage with bad stuff, but she really wasn't interested. I tried to give her some veggies and she just wasn't wanting them, so back into the cage she went, and she put herself back under her heat lamp. Hopefully as she starts to feel better she'll take treats after the meds so it's not so bad for her.

I feel bad for her too! Hopefully that antibiotic will start to kick in pretty quick.

Just a quick howdy do to my pond pals.
Thunderstorms early this morning. Phones etc. back on line now but not expecting it to hold. Temps were in the 50's at dawn but dropping now and winds picking up. High wind advisory for later (of course) and freeze warnings of course. Not saying any snow until tomorrow but they were wrong about no rain til this morning so I am expecting snow by midnight. Hopefully no ice first . No rain or wind at the moment so I better get outside and make sure nothing's leaking and nothing laying where it can freeze to the ground. Later splashers.

I remember years ago seeing a friends mom rushing out of the house in a total frenzy. Last thing she did before she left was grab a drinking glass, throw a scoop of instant coffee in it, fill it full of tap water & slug it down. Hard core! That was my first glimpse of what adulting looked like & man was I scared.
