Called down the stairs to tell the kid that I could hear going to bed to turn off the lights... he did..... then tripped.



There are night lights.


BTW.... 18 year old is "socializing"

I swing between panic... because I KNOW what I did at that age.

But then I try to take deep breaths and remember that we have had many frank talks... and so I do know that
1. He is being good, and
2. If he truly is successfully lying to me, I know he will be careful

But I was SUCH A BAD KID!!!

AL. .you better get you a costume before they are all sold out and you have to buy one two sizes too small.

made it to town yesterday and just had to show off how pretty my organic grocers is this time of year. Best grocer in the north and all those beautiful veggies are less expensive than Walmart <3

Wow! No name on the building... and FLOWERS OUTSIDE!!!!!

We had that dusty white stuff this morning. . .... still there this evening where the sun doesn't hit.

But since we had already had 2 periods of white peas falling from the sky... I knew it was coming. Mid October already.... so not so bad I guess.

We've had that white stuff falling all day yesterday, and all day today. Fortunately, the ground and roads are still warm enough it hasn't stuck.

It is!!! you would never expect something so wonderful in a small city like Rhinelander. It started out smaller but they were able to build this beautiful new building a few years ago. They even have a wonderful bakery that produces the most delicious natural goodies.
In this pic you can see the greenhouses and get a load of the huge bear (actually a bench) in the front of the pic. Always someone there taking a pic.
