Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

My DH favors Dewalt as well. Mostly for the tolerance of extreme cold without falling apart, etc.

@Alaskan
Dewalt 20 volt max.
I Really don't think they make cordless tools any better. Look for "brushless"
We have been slowly replacing all our cordless tools with dewalt. Batteries are expensive. . but charge fast and last and last. And it's great to be able to use the same battery on multiple tools.
Hubby's construction crew uses nothing but dewalt. And they are hard on stuff!

Ehhhh... kid is looking hard at Milwaukee since his boss uses dewalt and he doesn't want to mix up tools.

Also he was thinking their little baby ones... 8v???? Would be light and maneuverable or some such, as well as less money. :confused:

I know nothing about that brand. . but. .depends on what he needs to use it for and how often.
I certainly get not wanting to mix stuff up. And I am a cheap skate..
But I do also know sometimes that old saying is true.. you get what you pay for.

I bought a Stihl Chain saw... Gas powered, a few years back My neighbor loves it. I am too Chicken Sh it to use it... Same goes for the post hole driller. Now that I have a lawn tractor I can use them both becasue I cant carry anything far.

I dont remember the brand of post hole digger but I bought it at lowes. one man 45 CC or something or other. I also bought an additional bit for it to pre drill T posts. and Chainlink posts.

No frost line to speak of so the ground doesnt heave... the drill bit that came with the post hole digger is big enough to set a six by six... More than enough for yard fencing...
