Not from a root canal.Just way back and hard to get at and out .The right side was infected. The dentest is a slender guy and didn't have eough strength .So he pried more than little bit .think thats why so much pain .A couple of shots went straight in the nerves .not pleasent at all .

Well had more one person got upset with me over those bags .The problem isn't the plastic bag ,but the people that use them.I don't won't use cloth bags. They are made in china .plastic bags are made in the USA last time I checked .One lady got angry, because I was telling DW people who buy cloth bags are putting Americans out of work.Walmart has recycle bins for plastic bags.We have sorted abd recycled for ever.I search hard for Made in America.Pay twice as much .Get rewarded by things well made lasting three times as long.

When the govt outlaws the use of plastic bags you have no choice but to buy or make your own canvas bags.

We used to always get & reuse the plastic bags before they were banned. They made excellent bathroom trash can liners and are great for the cat liter & dog poop. My complaint is not the plastic bags, it’s that I’m told I can’t use them, that I have to buy/make new ones, reprogram me to figure out new ways to deal with trash & cat/dog poop, then once we’re all onboard they say, “nope, screw all those cute bags you wasted money buying fabric for because now you can’t use them.” Once I get out of the habit of not using the canvas, they’ll tell me I have to again. it’s frustrating.

I walked again today... I had to stop a bit less often on the up hill bit... so hurrah to me.

Here is a today picture... this bit of driveway has some dirt, but if you look down the slope, most of the driveway is still ice and snow

@perchie.girl excellent update! (Well.. the fall and busted walker, not so much....)
Joy..... you still have snow too

So this is new... DH went to Winco today & there was a frazzled lady coming out the store saying, “They won’t let me bring my bags in. They told me to throw them out.” Sure enough, DH gets up to the door & there’s an employee standing there telling everybody they’re not allowed to bring any outside bags in. He tells DH we have plenty of old plastic bags here you can use. DH told him he’s not paying 10cents a bag & the guy assured him they are free.

So, we spend years investing in canvas bags & training ourselves to bring those suckers into the store because plastic bags are outlawed. I spend time & money keeping them washed & stocked in both cars & now we can’t use them? Now we’re back to plastic?

For those of you who haven’t had to go through the long reprogramming process, this probably sounds like no big deal, but you don’t make 50 million people reinvent the wheel & then make them go back to how it was.

I‘m starting to lose my patience. If I, the Whatever Girl, is losing patience it means the rest of the dummies in this state are gonna start revolting soon. Maybe this is an isolated incident just at one store, but somehow I doubt it.

(Deb & Kathys, have you guys seen any signs of this yet?)

That has already happened here

We were laughing about this the other day... Yep.
It started with, "Feel free to bring your own bags, but we won't touch them." to, "Leave those suckers in the car!"

And, and, and - our recycling can is now just being dumped into the regular trash truck. Nobody is sorting through our used stuff.

What's that old Woody Allen movie where they go to the future and find everybody smoking because it's 'good for you'?

Crazy.
