Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Evening everyone :caf
praying you and all your tadpoles are well and staying safe.
Great news about your corner of the world Alaskan! So far we are still in lock down until the day after Memorial Day. Not sure it will last that long, the Gov. is being sued on charges is basically did a power grab and violated our constitution. Waste of money. I looked up our state constitution. I tutored college level students in business law in another life so I am fluent in 'legalese". He did a pretty sneaky maneuver to be able to extend our lock down but nothing was violated. Unless they come up with another strategy, we won't be turned loose til this latest order runs out no matter how many bored college kids they bus in to march around the capital building in Madison. A few things were lifted/modified with the latest order but nothing drastic. That's ok with us. As inconvenient as it is (and that's all it is for us up here so far, thank God) slow and steady and intelligent is what is going to work to keep us safe in this neck of the woods. The body count keeps climbing in the southern half of the state so what are those fools thinking marching around demanding a total lift of the lock down?

Oh, did I mention that I am chatting on my new laptop? I can't believe I got everything setup, updated, transferred over, installed, in less than a day? I guess this old gal's brain cells aren't as far gone as I thought :cool:Can't take all the credit tho, the Dell setup software was flawless. I only have left to do is cleanup the mess of my own making with all the old/new passwords.

I wish those governors that are wanting to lift all the restrictions right away thought like you do. They're just begging for far more fatalities, and are too blind to see it.

So far so good!!

Grandson and I finished planting the greenhouse today. I learned that I have been planting plants incorrectly for decades. Apparently before one can dig a hole to put the plant in, one must take the orange toy planer tool and “floof” the soil. Then one becomes an “excawaiter” to dig the hole. Once the plant is in said hole, one turns into a “boo dozer” and fills in around it. Who knew??
