The kids & I dressed the mannequin up as Freddy Kruger last night & put it in the hall to scare the crap outta DH in the middle of the night.

That dude didn’t even flinch. He just walked by it hiding around the corner, said, “ya’ll ain’t right” & kept walking. What a total anticlimax. We probably should’ve put it by his bed.

I love de Nile, warm and deep!!

I just try hard not to drown.

Still miss the chicks... kicked them out if the house... was that Friday???

Anyway, they had been in the school room with their headlamp. Ah, so toasty!!!

And a couple had gotten frisky enough that they would pop out of the box and flutter to a kid.

It was so great and cheerful!!!

Our weekend with the boy came to an end when his parents came home this afternoon. It was fun. He started referring to my fridge as “the robot” because it dinged at him when he held the door open too long. “Glamma, I want some food from your robot.” “Glamma, your robot is full of food. Your robot is happy!”
