Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I'm pretty stuck in my ways too. The other thing I like about 'Dutch' is they keep their pumpkin flavoring until they run out - and they know how to make an only slightly sweet breve (Starbucks is super sweet in comparison) with the creamiest milk ever.
I found out that Starbucks usually uses skim milk... unless you ASK.

I found that out the first time I went to Houston after becoming a coffee addict.

Starbucks was the only coffee house.

The first coffee I got there was so bad.

I complained to my older sis, she told me how to "speak Starbucks " so I could get what I wanted.

But... yeah, their coffee isn't good.

Bright and beautiful from my lily pad.

@Alaskan why no coffee ?
Same here! Good morning Sir Sour :frow
One or two more days and all the snow will be gone from the sunny spots and I will actually be able to pull the mulch back on the garlic bed early this year.
Oh, and never had a Starbucks. No such animal anywhere within hours of us up here. There used to be one of those drive up little coffee kiosk type things in the county seat but it didn't last long. The "big" county seat in the next county to the north actually has a really nice little coffee shop that's very sophisticated for up here and it has a drive up window which has allowed it to stay functional during the Covid. I can also get a really good espresso at the deli/bakery inside my natural foods grocer which is the main reason it's my first stop when I go to town.

I'm sidelining myself from running for a week - got a bit of an overuse injury that I need to do some exercises to fix -as well use the foam roller (that thing is amazing) and just let it heal. I figure that I've probably been babying the ankle that I broke a while back and that has messed with my gait. (Auto correct turned that to "hair" - yeah, I have split ends, so I need to stop running.)

Anyway.

Lots to do here (process some old hens and unnecessary roosters, finally finish the fence, clean...) and a beautiful day to do it.

Hmmm, we rarely (like once or twice a year maybe) stop at a McD's. Never thought of checking out their coffee. Do they do the fancier stuff?
Yeah, a few years ago they upgraded their whole coffee production. They don't have lots of options, but if you want a vanilla latte, they're not too bad, and about half the cost!
