Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Sittin' waiting for kid 4 and 5 to finish unloading the boat they road on.... and then load their gear into my car.

They were across the bay this weekend with the scouts, to help clean up and put away all trail and cabin stuff for the forest and parks people.

Kid 5 just dumped some gear in my car, and went back to help with the unloading.... and his voice! This last month he has been losing his baby voice.

Morning fellow ponders :caf
prayers for all on the west coast. can't believe the rollercoaster Mother Nature has put you guys on this year. Weather here has been a bit "crunchy" at night but the days have been perfect working weather, if a bit breezy. All the midwest weather horrors have been staying well to our south.
Please be kind if my post appears a bit whacky. Haven't slept for more than a few minutes at a time all weekend. Puppy fight with Pancreatitis took a turn for the worse too late to call the vet on Friday so we have spent the weekend together in my recliner. She hasn't eaten since a good meal Friday pm but that hasn't stopped the at least (sometimes sooner) need for potty trips. Tried all the usual home remedies for the "trots" that I could but my options were limited since she stopped eating Saturday am except for the few things she would eat but of course those aren't allowed because of the Pancreatitis and she wants nothing to do with the bland diet. Called the vet in hopes of getting a rx or wise??? but instead they want to see her TODAY! Gladly, just didn't think they could work her in on Monday but they shuffled someone else and gave the appointment to us so it's back to town in a couple hours. (I didn't feel bad about it because they knew they could call and ask me to switch my routine appt. whenever they needed too (and have many times in the past).
Ok, more caffeination needed before pup takes her next trip outside.
Have a great week everyone!!!

Sorry about the puppers.

Thank you everyone for all the kind thoughts and words :hugs
Puppers has a few new drugs on board and is sleeping peacefully on my legs as we are back in our evening position in the recliner. If the drugs kick in soon we might actually be able to sleep in the bed tonight. Was able to see her wonderful main vet today Dr Dan and he's 90% sure it's pancreatitis and not pancreatic cancer :fl We should know for certain by the end of the week. If the current round of therapies/diet work it's definitely an acute attack of pancreatitis, if it doesn't work, well then it's plan B. One day at a time. Tonight she is a comfortable happy puppy. We'll worry about tomorrow tomorrow.
