Well, in typical MN fashion, November has gone from 70* last Saturday to putting us in a blizzard warning from 6 tonight until 6 tomorrow night. On the bright side, school is already canceled, so… Snow Day!!! I have been desperately wanting a full day at home with nothing else going on. The bad news is, I don’t know if sons 1 and 2 and their families will be coming for deer hunting this weekend.

We’ve been in the 60’s to low 70’s during the day for weeks, totally unusual for us. Now in typical “hold my beer” fashion we’ve been thrust back into upper 80’s-90’s the last few days.

I just checked our weather. Black Friday we’re expecting our first real snow of one inch.
I guess it’s actually funny that as soon as Thanksgiving is done, we get snow.

I have been enjoying having time in the morning - with daylight - to do chicken things during this 4 day weekend. Normal weekends tend to be stressful "get everything done" days. Yesterday, I took my coffee out to the yard, sat, and watched my birds interact with each other for the first time in a long time. Oh, and got totally accosted by my dogs who just knew I was sitting there for the express purpose of petting them and throwing sticks.

We, too, went from HOT to chilly (usually it's more gradual...I was pointing this out to a friend and she said, "We had some milder days in between... At least two of them anyway.)
And then it rained and rained and rained. This weekend is 70's, which is really lovely!
