A show of hands! How many people teach their dog to die on command?
The dog has it in his head that asking for a tummy rub is worth a treat. He will let you rub his stomach for about five seconds before bolting to the kitchen for a treat. So, today I shot him, told him he was good, and he got a treat. I’m not sure, but I think he actually understands already that my finger gun and shooting noise means die.
I have only taught one other dog this.

S'mores could never pull this off. Her hips are too bad for her to roll over and really expose that belly... though, getting halfway would work lol

@dan26552 the kittens are adorable! We have 3 indoor and one barn cat outside (mom to two of our indoor brats). Gotta love them all!
