Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Someone posted this picture cause they were looking for langshans and it has a striking resemblance to that splash roo I got in December and not im Wondering if maybe it's langshan ameruacana mixes instead of copper Marans 🤔 cause the eggs aren't olive like they'd be if they'd been crossed to Marans and the one laying brown eggs, hers aren't super dark. Just thoughts for food I guess.

Good Morning Pond!

After 75 and sunny on Monday of last week, the weather guessers are predicting this for the next few days:

We’re ready for it! We always have plenty of food in the house, and I have materials for my next project. I have a 4’x5’ closet that I keep the kids’ toys in when they’re not here. When they are here, they pull the toys out and play in the closet. DIL that was visiting last weekend suggested that I put chalkboard paint on the lower half of the walls. I thought it was a great idea!

That's what I would think. Because anyways, black copper marans only have lightly feathered feet the majority of the time and your boy has heavily feathered feet, which would make a lot more sense. If it was part langshan.

Yea, I saw the picture and was man, that looks like my boy. Lol. Both of the roosters have heavy feathered feet as do two of the 3 hens.
