So my husband likes cologne and I don't buy the usual stuff everybody else wears. As I was looking through the bottles I came across an odd name so I read the description of the scent.....
The scent of wet fur gives way to the smell of a live honeycomb, dripping with honey's sweet, feral musk.

PF, no running noses, right?
No. Let me give you the low down so far.

I had one girl who was acting off last weak so I sperated her. She is flemmy, snotty sounding and was puffed up. I checked her for bugs but didn't see them at the time, guess I need brighter light and glasses.

Noticed another bird acting a bit stand-offish so decided to dose everyone with anti-biotic.
I noticed my girl that I seperated was really dirty on her butt so brought her in to clean her up and soak her and I was wearing a light colored shirt and after holding her I found bugs on my shirt.

Sprayed her and the coop and all the birds down yesterday with Permitherin (sp).

I noticed one of my other older birds had been roosting more than normal and I just caught her down in the coop and she is sounding flemmy and is kinda puffed up and hunched.

I had listened earlier in the week and didn't hear anyone breathing off.

The roo has been squeaky for a couple of months, and now I have others squeaking, all cochins which is kinda odd.

No discharge from eyes, or nose, no smell from the mouth, Poo under the older hen was loose and greenish but she is just coming off the anti-biotics so I didn't worry about greenish poo. Abdomin feels fine. The one I have seperated is actually eating better yesterday and today. Today is day 7 on antibiotics. I am cutting it off as it is not doing anything.

Thinking of ACV and maybe some yogurt to restart and hopefully kill off anything fungal? Anything else?

Get some oxine. If you can get them out of the coop for awhile, use the fogger strength and follow the directions on the bottle. if not use it as a mister/disinfectant and spray the coop air and wipe down any surfaces with it. also wipe out all the feeders and waterers and do the 8 drops of oxine per gallon of drinking water.
