If you ever find yourself in a situation where you have a single duckling hatch, you will soon understand how needy these little ones can be. After 4 nights of loud peeping at bed time, I thought that maybe my picture in her bed would help. And to my surprise, IT WORKED!!! The crying stopped instantly and when I went to see why this is what I saw... Little Hope sitting in front of my picture? She is finally happy and I can finally sleep!!

Brilliant!  I've used mirrors, but I didn't realize their facial recognition of human faces was so good.  She's your baby for life, you know.

This is by far the smartest thing I have ever come up with!! It's worked and she literally sits there right next to my picture!! No joke, it's hilarious, I have not heard her cry at all. I even put a picture in with the calls and it's also calmed them down completely! I'm so glad I thought if this. It made perfect sense to me since they imprint on the face, it was really a no brainier lol
