oh, and I picked up 11, hopefully fertile turkey eggs and set them on Saturday.

28 days, and the crik don't rise, I may have some poults!!

I'm not sure honestly. She would have hatched in march/April. I hate not being around Awwww I'm sorry walnut! that wasn't the off color one was it?

Then I'm not worried about Peg, she may start anytime and Bella most likely just started... Cuteness laid 1 egg in January, then started laying in earnest in February... Bella and Peg hatched in June, so a couple months later than Cuteness' timing sounds about right...

I've seen at least four or five.

Yes, that was the new color poult. They weren't gonna eat Old Gray Mare, they got 2 hens to free range with their tom, a red slate. He was really fond of her so I am going to make another set of turkey eggs and gather some of those genetics. Scooter was really, REALLY happy to see her. And she to see him.

So sorry... you got another in your lockdown batch! I bet he was, lol! Glad they were understanding and you got her back... she makes pretty poults...

Want anymore blue eggs? Legbars are laying now and most of the Am chicks should hatch out Lavenders with more whites too...

I'm seriously trying right now to sell off the little project I was messing with on the EE's........why have olive or green eggs, when you can have blue!! lol

I keep trying to get some decent pics of them, but they are batchit crazy when I walk in the grow out pen.......worse than the legbars were.

traded them for some of my eggs, my sex link pens, and the project pen.........

super nice folks, and enjoyed visiting with them about their birds, and mine.

dang, but when I got the eggs, and looked at them, they had all been stored pointy end up........

Just let me know, no prob... skittish? Wow... I can't keep mine from jumping up on me and getting right up in my face, lol... but I start mine as chicks in guinea pig type cages at table height... seems to make a difference... don't worry if you can't get good pics, just glad you are happy with them...

They should be fine... pointy end up is recommended for longer term storage of hatching eggs...
