Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Don't hold out much hope for the twins.  Turkey poults, especially my crossbreeds, are large to begin with; I have to assist some of my singles because they fill 100% of shell volume and can't get past pip.

The twins are one head up, one head down, neither in "normal" position.  If head down twin tries to pip, it has a high likelihood of hitting a blood vessel or head up's yolk.  If head up twin tries to pip, it has an equal chance of hitting head down's yolk or a blood vessel.  Either would cause both to bleed out or drown.

Beside the presence of a large amount of unabsorbed yolk, they also look very undersized.  That is surprising; the egg was set one day later than the others but development looks 3 days late.

Simply getting twins this far along is not all that common.  I didn't set the egg with the expectation that it would make it to hatching stage.  Earlier attempts had one of the poults die mid stage and foul the egg.

I understand what you are saying, my double egg made it to hatch day and with the help of Ravynfallon I was able to assist in the hatch, unfortunately one died but the other lived and we we're blessed with our beautiful Ray duck :)

Good morning everyone
I'm alive after my last infusion I felt so bad I was sure this was the end, but I pushed through so y'all are stuck with me a little longer :)
