Not sure what I'll put in there first ! Probably blue wheaten eggs from Eve, and some black and blues. All AMs first round!
Found a home for the Silkie chick I bought...I'm just not impressed with her, she really seems to be very dumb..

You need non hatchery Silkies... I had to move mine to one of the lf coops since theirs wasn't secure, lost my best splash hen to d*** predator, and when they couldn't figure out the long, tall ramp they ran up to me so I could pick them up and put them inside... after a few days, all but 2 have figured out the ramp...

Oh, my first Paint Silkie pullet from Ruby laid her first egg today!!

She sounds very pretty! I'd be happy with mine, if she'd just gain a little personality.it probably varies from Silkie to Silkie.

Yeah, that flock in WV just laid them in a bator in TN, that's no mean feat!!

I got blue eggs being laid everywhere, lol... took my last tailed Araucanas to the auction today, most of Apollo's first generation of daughters are laying now and need to go in with him... lots of rumpless, double tufted girls... can't wait to see F2!!
