Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

I am so thankful to God that she's ok. But if she ever gets home I think I might have to choke her! She's 18 but she's only had her drivers for maybe a month. I just sold her that car for next to nothing and paid for her tags so she could get a JOB not drive it to timbuckto for a stupid boy!
Sorry.... Teenagers do stupid things.
My wife and I had two kids by the time she was your daughters age....I feel for you though.

For sure. It's just frustrating that she is so smart but yet making the dumbest decisions for herself. She struggles with anxiety and depression but refuses any more therapy. Hopefully this will wake her up but I don't think it's going to. She's planning to go back to the apartment she has been sharing with a 36 year old man.
Ouch.... Dang it.
I've got things I want to say here.... But I will refrain as I don't want to be legally responsible for what might happen to a 36 year old man. But let's just say he's lucky it ain't my daughter.

I'm very grateful She is ok. Just frustrated that I feel powerless to help her. She just keeps making drastic decisions that put her in harms way and lies about where she is and what she's doing so the damage is done before we ever even find out the truth.
I'm sorry you have to go through this...I cannot imagine. I'm so glad I didn't have these kind of issues. My wife was much younger than your daughter when we got married.
In her case the children were a blessing because they kept her on an even keel ....I didn't have to deal with her demons till after the children left home.
I do know that regardless of what she is doing you cannot let it drag the rest of you with her.
At 18 she thinks she's an adult.... We all did.
But she's old enough to get into trouble. But still too young to understand the life time of living with those poor decisions.

:lau I can't remember now which one I quoted. I enjoyed them all!

My thirteen year old daughter just informed us she has " smarticle particles".
I'm worried!:th

 Is it contagious??

Beautiful. Love, love that stone!!

Two days ago, this little one was knocking on death's door. Today, after some tube feeding and TLC, she felt good enough to jump out of her box and climb up onto me for some company.

:love Good job!

Pretty! Glad she's doing well. What breed?
I have a Lexi too! My grey girl.
Mine chase each other all around, and I've noticed a few that have favorite buddies, but they all seem to pick on each other equally. Initially a couple of the boys were really mean to one boy in particular, but he finally stood up for himself and pushes back.
 :hugs
I was right, a pretty little splash :clap

Good morning Pondies!

I was supposed to fire someone here yesterday. Then the HR gal decided she'd better confirm with the VP of HR who happened to be traveling. Never heard back yesterday so who know what's gonna happen. Now my boss is saying VP may decide we need to do more documenting before I can fire the guy. I hate this kind of corporate BS.
