Several years ago the Princess backed me into a corner and forced me to promise I would stop chewing tobacco. When I told our daughter, she said, "Oh, Dad, you're screwed." That has to have been over 15 years ago, and I have not used leaf tobacco. The understanding is that if I get a terminal diagnosis I will start immediately.
