Finished my hatch from @Pyxis 9 total outta 18 shipped eggs!!

5 beautiful keepers and even the 4 culls are good for a start! Super happy!! :ya :ya

And one very special little chick... the very last one hatched, lol...

The DH and I are all packed for one last backpack trip before mountain temps fall. Once again, we are hoping the kids keep everything alive while we are away. Thankfully, it's not too hot anymore, so running out of water won't be instantly deadly.

after having the bantam roos out if the bantam pen...for 3 months now???

my poor bald headed girls are FINALLY starting to look nice! Whew! About time!

I am going to have to cut off one of those roos heads.... maybe I will take out 2 roos...just hard to decide....do I ever again want to hatch pure d'anvers? do I?
