Well, 40 minutes until I'm supposed to be up to get ready for my surgery.

I tell you what, Valium does not last long for me, apparently. Only managed to get about three hours of sleep before my anxiety came back and woke me up.

Hope all goes well!

Epidural is in now, so hopefully won't be all day now.

#1 was 'sunny side up' & was so painful I puked for 16hrs straight (had to get the epidural done twice.)
#2 was almost born on the freeway & came out too fast to get any pain meds.

#3 was stuck so tight, upsidedown & smashed into my ribcage, that I was black & blue from them trying to turn her around. They eventually had to cut her out.

...Isn't childbirth great!

Num 1 kept pushing her feet against my ribs, bruised my lung and ribs on the right side...
