Guess we'll have to agree to disagree - the "painfully" bit is a little disconcerting to my liberal ears - j/sAlthough conservative about many things, I have a strong liberal bent. That being said I feel that Manson should have been killed long ago - painfully.

Or do we take a more proactive approach and "deal" all people exhibiting similar mental disorders (those that we identify as exhibiting such characteristics, according to what social science would believe it knows) prior to them committing such acts![]()
I would have thought one either agrees or disagrees with capital punishment. The crime is irrelevantI'm all for finding and treating mental illness...I guess my heart goes out to the victims and their families.
I don't like the idea of capital punishment as a whole...But it's hard for me to reason how someone who can do such horrible things as he did, deserves to live, even in prison.
But I'm not judge and jury, and it's more an emotional thing for me I suppose.
