Just got home good.
One never tried to drive north on The Mackinac Bridge on a holiday weekend.
For what ever reason everyone comes up north on holidays.
I was stuck on the bridge forever the line for the toll was over halfway across bridge.(bridge is 5 miles long)...not a good thing if you are afraid of heights....could have gotten some cool pics but was boxed in
