was doing bird checks and found my black serama hen huddled in the corner. low egg production compared to the rest-only 1 since I got her a month ago. watery white and green slimy poop. Mushy crop... gave her a dose of valbazen, some electrolyte water and scrambled eggs with grit & probiotic. anything i should or shouldnt do? she is in the spare room in a shoe box under a heat lamp to keep her calm...

are you thinking egg bound? a boost of calcium like tums, and it shouldnt hurt her either if she is not egg bound

I was a clothes wh$re this time last year.... but then I got into my chickens and then my wrist happened and I got really depressed & I gained some weight. Seriously this has been so awful! I just want a few comfy things that aren't nightshits.... (yes I did that on purpose) that I can wear out and get on and off easy without killing my hand until I can start working out and eating right again! the whole food poisoning fiasco happened because I can't cut meat. I tried making a batch of chicken breasts in the oven. They were pretty thick and I am thinking maybe they were either sold to me bad or I under cooked them. So I have been eating like crap. Hoping therapy will help.

I imagine she's a good hunt'n'pecker.

I found a nest of baby rats recently... my Ameraucanas tore them apart.. I got some pics if ya'll want to see...

oh i saw her post that she got them back on the cuddly thread, i will have to take a look at those pictures i am wondering if maybe my charlotte will look similar, i need to get newer pics but this one: she has chocolatey brown coming through in spots

I get a lot of blue bibbed with leakage... comes from them being from mixed color breeding... it's still debatable what color that is... fawn, chocolate, cocoa, dun, khaki, buff... there are many, lol... I have been researching and researching... I'll try and get some pics for you to see at some point... super busy...
