Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

the funny thing is he doesn't bother anyone else he has singled out that Leghorn rooster as his enemy

I've had that happen to me too, lol... the 2 Snowy drakes I got from you (not counting Dex that was with Cuteness) they decided they were mortal enemies... tore the h*ll out of each other every single chance they got! Cas' last bout in solitary, Lady Grey picked him as her mate... so the other drake got shipped off... now I have multiple drakes sharing a large enclosure and the worst I see is a minor squabble once in a great while... go figure... :gig

Aspirin is a pain killer and blood thinner.

Bird should not need either.
yes on the blood thinner. As far as pain control, I wouldn't just yet. If it works for pain, depending on what is actually injured, she may have a false sense of well being and try to do more than she should right now... take it from the master herself!!!! (in regards to me-not my birds

) and If i remember correctly, isnt one of the wounds a head wound? definitely don't want to induce any extra bleeding at this point. even if the wounds on the outside are clotted, you still don't know what damage there is internally. I am no bird master but I am pretty good with humans and some of the basic principals make sense in this situation in regards to treating a trauma.

Yes, a head wound with what seems like a large amount of swelling.

Thanks :thumbsup

When i treated my friends duck for the hawk attack, I confined it to a little dog carrier to where it could only stand and turn with enough room for food and water. Electrolytes in the water, scrambled eggs and layer mash, that cream on the wounds and kept it warm. it looked paralyzed and very weak on one side-wing included. it didnt want to eat or move. so once we saw the wounds were closed and the other ducks wouldn't peck at it, we decided to reintroduce it to its friends... Poor thing was depressed,!!! Still had a slight wobble but once it got back with its friends (about 5 days of rest) it was like a new duck! I hope you can fix her Banty
