Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

The incubator dropped last night, to 52 degrees, killed every last one of the pipped eggs. Any chance the others are ok?

Oh no , I am so sorry to hear that, I wished I knew anything at all to tell you but I don't know

Not helpful I'm sure..Did you candle them? Any signs of movement?
I had as egg I blindly incubated under a heat lamp and when I was unsure I would put the egg in a cup of warm water and look for movement obviously the eggs didn't have any external pips yet , maybe you could try that with the remaining eggs???
So sorry that happened, I know that you must be sick :(
:hugs

Nope, they're no good, here's a unpipped egg, completely shrink wrapped.

Thanks Lucy. Not sick exactly, just very disappointed and upset.

Same with my TSC and feed store.  The Prince medicated chick starter sold at my feed store had amprolium plus an antibiotic covered in the VFD, so I understand that one.  But Corid?  But feeds that were formulated with Amprolium alone?  WTH?

Haven't checked the meds rack but our TSC still sells medicated chick starter.

So sorry Dan ! :(

Good morning Pondies! Look what I cracked open for breakfast! AND it came from a five month old Jumbo Cornish Hybrid that we have in with a Jersey Giant roo.
