Good morning Pondies! Look what I cracked open for breakfast! AND it came from a five month old Jumbo Cornish Hybrid that we have in with a Jersey Giant roo.

Now there's a cracking pair, if I ever I saw 'em!

I reckon I'd be poaching those beauties for breakfast.

Ok, maybe alls not lost, I was (carefully) removing the membrane on the unpipped egg and it opened its eye and looked at me.

Temp is up again, it doesn't take long for it to heat up.

They tasted just like eggs! This fat moma free ranges all day. Well, she has the opportunity to free range all day. She usually lounges by the feeder and watches soap operas. Does the egg look fertile? I'm wanting to raise our own strain of meat birds.
