Lead shot has been prohibited for waterfowl hunting since the 1990's. We have to use steel shot or an approved non-toxic load in shotgun shells.

That's the easy part...just subscribe to the auctions and bid. Or do as I did, on a road trip across the state I stopped at a dozen roadside stands and bought eggs, and randomly selected two dozen to set. I got Barred Rocks, Naked Necks, Dorking cross, and a bunch of random backyard birds that are good contributors to these baskets.

Federal law allows for steel poisoning. Then filet the breast, marinade in Italian dressing overnight, slice, batter and deep fry.

Truth be told this is the first time I have been brave enough to venture out on the water by myself...But today is different from all other days, I decided to venture out and paddle around..It was nice

1 leghorn for white eggs
1 BPR for cream eggs
1 araucana /crested legbar for celeste eggs
1 Maranas for chocolate eggs
1 olive egger cross for olive green
And you are done!

agreed! BUT how many eggs do i need to hatch to make sure i get all of those and are female   my husband would kill me! 

Hatch and sell or eat the extras!
I just imagine if we where married, 2 crazy chicken people like us, this would be the house that we where living in!
