On a similar note -at least 3 out of the 4 "EE's" are laying blue eggs. I'm not an optimist by nature, but it would be great if the fourth gal has not started laying yet

That's dang good odds!! And bodes well for her carrying 2 blue egg genes... with the saturation her eggs had, I really think she is...

Me neither, and she's so convinced that she's correct. Breeding EE's ain't rocket science, so why would all hatcheries decide to do it from the same stock and continue those breeding lines? Makes absolutely no sense.
