Yea that's about the only thing I don't much care for with the CX is that they sleep in the dirt or whatever is on the coop floor.

Usually right in front of the feeder, too. The Rangers are feisty but not mean, they just tell the 8 week old Ams that they have first dibs.

Can't stand the broiler types - they just look so darn ugly, but strangely very friendly birds (guess you gotta be when you are too fat to run away from anything )

Mine only get fed once a day so they can't sleep in front of the feeder.

Maybe they haven't got things sorted, so the software automatically "shrinks to fit" photos yet? I did notice yesterday (earlier today over there) that Sour's hat seemed to be larger than usual. I couldn't see his rim
