Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Find out...maybe by calling your extention agent, if your area has lots of natural copper or not.

Those look great.

Ours are only about halfway ripe. As in each berry is only halfway ripe. We have had a pretty cold summer.

I find each kind of fish tastes different. ..but still like fish. Some are much stronger tasting that others.

:hugs

Salmon and halibut are the main fish up here. .. so they are what we usually eat....hum, maybe all we eat gish wise.

Spoon bread is like corn bread, but more moist. So, you need a spoon to serve it! :D You can moisten it up with anything really...but standard is you take your regular cornbread recipe (but I prefer using fine and corse cornmeal instead of cornmeal and wheat flour), then add any or all or some of the following:

Can of corn with some of the juice
Jalapeño juice
Cheese
Diced peppers of whatever variety
Extra butter

Good luck on the appointments!

:hugs That is horrid. So sorry!

Not sure about their decks...

But clearly not with a full set of fingers. ;)

You don't get out much do you??

Which is the color she wanted?

:barnie
I'm not sure which color @minihorse927 lost - but I had been looking at my very grey (they call'em silver - so fancy!) boys, thinking that was just going to be my lot in life. But gold flecks are something new and exciting!!

:lau

What else?

But of course you would also have lots of Mexican food. Or Cal-Mex???? What do y'all call the blend?

In my family we refer to two types... Mexican & Tex-Mex. Seriously though, living an hour away from the boarder, we mostly just call it 'food'. We get a lot of out of town military spouses working around here. I remember checking out at the grocery store one day & the cashier was all excited & said, "Looks like its gonna be Mexican night tonight!" Huh? :confused:I was totally confused, I stared at the conveyer belt. I was just buying groceries & I had no idea what she was talking about. I was still trying to process it walking to the car. I eventually figured out that I make a lot of 'Mexican Food'.

Oooooh

With cheese and olives!!!

Cal makes olives right? What about cheese though?

We definitely have local olives! I don't know about cheese... Rumanio cheese comes from northern California. Its good, but I get most of my cheese from Tillamook up in Oregon.

My #1 comfort food is tacos, followed closely by anything with potato in it... Baked potato, mashed potato, double stuffed potato, scalloped potato, hashbrown casserole, fries ... I just realized I havent eaten all day & I'm starving!!! :drool

Possibly easier than trying to get DW to munch on... oh deary me :th
I believe there is a different term for that....
