Psst, don't keep a betta in a bowl. It'll be very unhappy. Five gallon tank minimum, with a filter (they are very sensitive to ammonia buildup) and a heater as they are a tropical fish. Live marimo moss balls make a good tank accessory, as they help clean the water and the bettas will actually sometimes play with them. Then some other fake plants to fill up some space and a place where it can hide if it gets scared, and you'll have a happy fish that'll live for years :)

Here's a basic care guide :)
Thanks Pyxis! She got a bowl and accessories, also a moss ball. We'll work on acquiring a tank and such when we can.:hugs

Found out my new dog Brandy is a very good watch dog.... Someone knocked on the door and her Woofs woke us all up... Just big and loud .... Shes one who likes to sleep most of the day and does a little back yard patrol at night...
she can jump the back of the couch if something is in her way and nimbly settles down in her spot. Oh and you can tell where shes been laying because she takes her Dog biscuit with her.
Softest mouth I have ever seen on a dog and polite too.
deb

Who was it??? Is that normal for your area? People never knock on my door.
