Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

Chit day. Co-worker driving me insane.
Daughter leaving tomorrow.
Found out we aren't doing summer school anymore and that drops my yearly income by about 2,000 dollars.
Car needs another 100 dollar part.
Ducks can't get along.
Hubs is fed up with his job. . been in a bad mood every day for a couple weeks now.
My great uncle is dying of cancer and my mom is crying her eyeballs out.
My step daughter's dog died.
I'm not in a very good mood myself.
oh well just another day in paradise.
I know there's lots of folks worse off.
I just wanna whine a little bit.
That's more than enough to drive anyone to some whining! B...Away gal!!! You have plenty ears and shoulders!:hugs:hugs:hugs

Well, I may be down to two chickens. When I went to lock up, my EE cockerel and BA hen came out of the coop. I looked in, expecting to see my big white rooster and pretty little Penciled Rock on the roost. Nope. Nowhere near the coop, inside or out. It's not quite dark yet, so I'll wait a bit before I go back out to lock them up. Just in case... If they are gone for sure, I may just put the two survivors in the freezer and start from scratch in the spring. I'm thinking all the coyote noise and activity from last night may be linked to my missing chickens. I hate those things.

Aww. .. That stinks. Hope they are just hiding.

I'm not sure about coyote trapping. DH used to trap, but not them. I think you'd have to use snares, and with the dog running around... Every winter there are coyote hunts out here. It helps, but I'd like them to ALL be gone.
Good point.. Forgot about the dog...
Other than sitting out all night waiting for a chance to pop one, I have no ideas....:(
