Welcome to my pond - Swim, wade, or sit on the bank

achem. Those are not yet cute.

nope

There are lots of churches up here. When the Russians owned Alaska they also sent missionaries, and many churches were built. The old ones are usually wood with cute Russian domes.

Our church is new, built in a town that was pretty much nothing back then, which is why it had no church. But the style of our church is similar to the old churches, except most of the old ones have many domes, and we only have one.

like this old church:

Yeah, the one we visited was wooden - and not painted. I believe it had several domes. Very lovely. I may even still have some pictures somewhere.

Son and daughter are at a game night, DH is downstairs watching football... I have a pile of midterms and a half finished preliminary model for the set of Music Man that really need my attention. But I've also got a bad case of "I don't want to", which is probably highly contagious (you've been warned).
Yeah, that seems to be going around..I've had a bad case myself this evening...:hugs

Here's what I've got so far:
There's no real wing space (off stage space) to move anything, so the entire set has to pretty much be on stage the entire time. So, I've designed this house that comes apart with a variety of different ways to set it up for the different scenes. I have a roof pitch problem with one section - but I'm thinking it through -slowly. Eventually I'll build a fully painted model, but I like to use white paper models for logistics firstm

Can't wait to see the finished product...Will you be able to get pics when it's finished and set up for different scenes?
